Salvador Espinoza Escobar, 48, of Asheboro, was recently arrested after a tip to The National Human Trafficking Tip Line alerted Randolph County officials. The North Carolina man is facing human trafficking charges after he allegedly kept a person in sexual servitude for five years
by withholding basic needs in exchange for forced sexual acts since January 2015. Escobar has been released on a $100,000 bond after appearing in court, the case remains under investigation. The name and condition of the victim will remain private to ensure protection and privacy.
