Michigan Girl Saved From Human Trafficking

A 16-year-old girl has been rescued from human trafficking, after she was befriended by Shawn Randall, who later lured her into trafficking. Randall used love to control his victim, the young girl said she viewed him like a brother, she even referred to him as her boyfriend. After a relationship was built Randall began trafficking the young girl four to five times a day, for three months. Randall has now been charged with five felony charges, including human trafficking of a minor. His bond was set at $300,000. Authorities urge parents to monitor their children when it comes to technology. “If you don’t have protection on your kids’ phones, you’re literally opening the front door, allowing predators to come in your room while you go to another place,” said Genesee County Sheriff, Christopher Swanson.
