After allegations of being involved in a sex cult case, Smallville actress Allison Mack is expected to change her non guilty plea to a guilty plea. The actress was part of an alleged self help group called NXIVM, based in upstate New York. However after a closer investigation, the group was found to be a secret society of women who were branded with the initials of Kieth Ranieres, the organization’s founder. The women were then forced to have sex with Ranieres. The actress recently apologized to the women that were exploited by Raniere, but claims she believed Raniere’s intentions were “to help people”. Investigators believe Mark recruited women for Ranieres in exchange for “financial and other benefits”. Mack could face 20 years on each count when she is sentenced in September.
