Tucson police department cracks down on human sex trafficking

Tucson Police Department is working to crack down on human sex trafficking and after months spent on one case, police found a man by the name of Amadi to be involved in a sex trafficking bust. After receiving a tip from a mother who believed her daughter had been trafficked after meeting this man online. Amadi was meeting underage women on phone apps and then arranging for them to sleep with adult men. The men would often buy the young girls clothes, food, and drugs in an attempt to manipulate them and distract them from the fact that they were being pimped. Sag. Benjamin Frie, head of the the Tucson sex trafficking unit says, women and men of all ages are being sex trafficked in tucson, but primarily women in their teens to late 20’s.
