Waco schools have received state funding to expand human trafficking prevention education and training programs. Unbound, an anti-human trafficking organization was awarded a $200,000 grant by the Office of the Governor’s Child Sex Trafficking Team (CSTT). The program is called “Keeping Students Safe” and will teach students how they can reduce victimization and perpetration of human trafficking. School personnel will learn prevention and early intervention through the program. The program will also provide information to parents on how they can keep their children safe.
